Holiday Inn Richland on the River, an IHG Hotel

Renovated rooms on the outside are great! Inside, overseeing the courtyard and pool, rooms are older. Comfy beds, outdoor hot tub in the winter is great, restaurant onsite is descent, and the river walk is zen! Staff is always so great! Near 3 Margaritas restaurant - a must visit for authentic Mexican food. Movie theater close as well. Walkable.

My absolute favorite hotel!! I stay here a few times a month and get consistently great service! The rooms are very clean and comfortable; the view of the courtyard and/or river is gorgeous! So peaceful and relaxing. Breakfast is delicious and, even the restaurant is super clean, comfortable, and has a lovely view. All the staff are wonderful!! Alisha, in particular, really impressed me - very young and yet such a hard worker! She was so attentive, gracious, kind, and genuinely cared for everyone she was serving. A rare find in todays world!

I write a bad review about once a decade. I travel 3-4 days a month and usually stay at Holiday Inns because they are reliably good. This was the worst Holiday Inn I've ever stayed at. The carpets were filthy. On the stairway I used, the carpet tacking was failing. The room absolutely reeked of cigarette smoke. I was there 4 nights and had already decided not to stay there ever again ( I had a bad experience the first time I stayed there a couple years ago - didn't write a review because I don't usually complain) and the final nail in the coffin was on the last night I was there, I ran over a bolt in the parking lot. I knew exactly where I picked it up because it was making a great deal of noise as I drove. I had to have the car towed the next morning to get the tire fixed. I didn't know when the car would be ready and requested a 1-2 hour late checkout and they refused. I told them I had picked up the bolt in THEIR parking lot and I was just requesting an hour or 2 and they still refused. Horrible customer service. They could not have cared less. Filthy carpets, furniture dated, similar to what you would fine in a bargain basement hotel, room reeking of cigarette smoke.

Cutest little town great Tamales place nearby. Novel Coffee is amazing and definitely a place to visit when you stay and my favorite Amethyst I've Cream is delicious and just down the street from the hotel. The rooms are nice the service is excellent and the area is very walkable. Also, the park is so cute and the hotel has a really decent gym.

I have been staying at the Holiday inn on the river frequently for the last couple of years. The girls that work the front desk are always friendly (Alyssa, Diana, Kim) and professional. I can't leave out the young men generally in the evenings. The ladies serving in the dining room, (Alisha, Tia) and the cleaning staff, who work hard keeping making the rooms clean and comfortable. Thanks to all of you. Alyssa, I have enjoyed our occasional conversations. To the holiday inn management, you have a fantastic staff.

This place is fabulous. We had a king courtyard room. The beds are super comfortable. The rooms( my Mother had one too) were very clean. The Hotel had just been renovated and it has a very modern vibe. I love that with the courtyard room you can walk down to the river right out your back door. The park located on the Columbia River is so beautiful and there were many people walking and picnicking in the park. It has great views. The hotel has a great location that is convenient to hwy access too. The front desk staff was attentive,focused, genuine, and efficient. Check in process was stress free. I like that they had lemon and lime waters available in the check in area as well as 24 hour coffee! A+ for me! We took our Grandchildren swimming in the pool and pretty much spent the day there. The pool is large enough to accommodate many guests and the seating was nice. It also sat next to the Hotel Restaurant-Ripples. This is where we had breakfast. It had a wide variety of breakfast options and the bacon was delicious, lol. Nice seating -indoor or out. This is a wonderful place to stay and we will be returning again this week! Highly recommend.
